Colleague Access

Request or change access to Ellucian Colleague (screen/module/role/security class) to perform official University duties. Requires supervisor approval and data‑owner review/approval.

Employee Onboarding / Offboarding

Provisioning and de‑provisioning of LU technology for new hires, transfers, and separations. Includes LU account creation/removal, email/M365 licensing, standard software, and role‑based access to systems (e.g., shared drives, Teams/SharePoint, Colleague). Supervisor approval is required; actions follow University data security and account ownership standards.

Guest or Vendor Account Access

Time‑bound, least‑privilege access for external collaborators (guests or vendors) to LU computing resources (e.g., M365 guest, portal or network access) when needed to support University business. Requests must include a business justification, sponsor, and start/end dates; all external access requires explicit authorization per University policies.

Shared Drive Access

Add, change, or remove permissions to departmental network shares or Microsoft 365 locations (Teams/SharePoint) based on job role. Supervisor and data‑owner approvals are required; requestors and custodians must protect University records and follow information security practices.

User Account Assistance

Help with sign‑in problems, password/MFA resets, locked or disabled accounts, name changes, role/department updates, shared mailbox or distribution list access, sponsored accounts, and account disablement/closure.

VPN Access

Secure remote connectivity to LU internal resources for authorized employees and approved partners. Requests must specify business need and duration; provisioning follows LU networking/security standards (firewall/VPN controls such as SonicWall) and may require security review.
