Multimedia Equipment Request

What Is It?

This service lets faculty and staff request, schedule, and receive support for LU owned multimedia equipment. Depending on availability and need, ITS can:

  • Provide portable A/V kits (e.g., projector/screen, speaker/mic, webcam) for short‑term use.
  • Set up and test installed classroom technology ahead of class or an event.
  • Offer quick training or a brief run through on using the equipment and connecting your device.
  • Coordinate with campus partners (e.g., Facilities/Events) when room changes, podium power, or furniture layout affect the A/V plan.

Use of University equipment must follow LU Acceptable Use and related policies.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

  • Faculty & Staff (instruction, meetings, official events)
  • Department administrators/Program coordinators (on behalf of units/guest speakers)
  • Student employees/Graduate assistants with a department sponsor

Equipment remains LU property; requestors are responsible for proper use and timely return under University policy.
