How Do I Use It?

1) Schedule your training (recommended lead time: as early as possible)

Submit a Classroom Technology Training request in TeamDynamix and include:

  • When & where: Building/room and preferred date/time (include how many minutes of setup/practice you want before class)
  • Your devices: In‑room PC, laptop model/OS, tablet/phone; note if you’ll need HDMI/USB‑C or adapters
  • Newline focus areas (check all that apply):
    • Whiteboard & annotation (save/export)
    • Wireless casting (if supported in your room)
  • Teaching scenario: Lecture with slides/video, interactive exercises, exams, guest speakers, panel sessions, or recordings
  • Experience level: New to the room/technology, refresher, or advanced tips

We’ll confirm the time, prepare the room/kit, and tailor the session to your goals.

2) What to expect in the session

  • A walk‑through of your room’s gear and connections (including Newline workflows if present)
  • A live practice of your class run‑of‑show (slides, media, casting, whiteboarding, and hybrid sharing)
  • Guidance on what to do if something fails, and how to reach live assistance

3) After training — day of support

If you hit a snag during class, call 573‑681‑5888 for immediate triage; we’ll talk you through it and dispatch if needed.

Notes & Policies

  • Bring your content (slide deck/media) on the device you’ll teach from to test end‑to‑end
  • Avoid personal hotspots or consumer Wi‑Fi equipment in classrooms; they interfere with casting and campus wireless (policy applies).
  • Always log out of in‑room PCs and return the display to ready (correct input/volume) when you finish
